Joe Who
Oct 20th
So this whole Election is huge that you can see new stuff everyday like sexy comics of Sarah Palin, something about Senator Barack Obama & Senator John Mc. Cain and now a man from Ohio known as Joe the Plumber. This man became a celebrity overnight, you don’t believe that not only the Presidential candidates has been taking pictures with him but normal people like us. What’s with this guy anyway?Of course there are talking about big tax cuts from people like Joe the Plumber. He can just forget about the upcoming president (whoever it may be) to give us a tax break because it will never happen! Tax will continue to raise for more obvious reasons to be use in important things around us like schools, roads and most of all? The politician’s salary! So just put on your big Boys & big Girls pants and just suck it up!
Water Scare
Oct 16th
Did you know that there are traces of diferent prescription drugs that you can find in your faucets? It’s true scientist says that even though you can’t see nor taste it, there are millions of prescription traces that are in our water faucets. I read this on ABC Health News
Imagine everything from antidepressants to heart medication to caffeine to birth control pills has been found in certain drinking water, According to Dr. Brian Buckley, an environmental scientist at Rutgers University in New Jersey. He said that traces do escape from human waste & are flushed into our treatments plants and wind up in the water supply.
It is still unclear if there will be any long -term health risk but the evidence are in the water and it already affected the fish & frogs.
The government should do something about this because water is consumed by billions of people in the United States. Eventhough they say that there’s minimal effect in our bodies but we drink water how many times in a year and I think that it will affect us anytime. I would say that I want to start buying bottled water but aside from the cost, i don’t even know if it is that safe also.
They also sya that they are beginning to create drop-offs locations where people can bring their expired drugs to be incinerated , preventing them from ending up in rivers and streams and contaminating the water supply. Well, they shoudl do this faster and make eveeryone know about this! SOONER….
