You already know that saving energy is = saving $$ right? So why not try it in your home? In today’s recession we all need to cut spending and start saving. There are many ways in doing that like:

1.Taking showers instead of baths! Did you know how much water you can save by taking a quick shower rather than lathering yourself in a bubble bath?

2.Unplugging electrical devices from electrical outlets. Sure they are off but some devices can draw power even if they are turned off.

3.Do not turn your dishwasher on unless it is fully loaded or better yet, try washing them by hands.

4. Turn your washing machine with full loads and try hanging and  drying them in your backyard.

5. If you can’t invest new windows try using thick window curtains during winter to hold cold air back.

6. Switch your regular incandescent lightbulb to fluorescent. It produces less heat so it is 4-6 times more efficient than your regular incandescent bulb.

There are more ways in saving energy, do research and apply them into your homes and you cannot only save money but also help our environment!
