We do need to put new backboards, paint some areas and switchplate covers and the upstairs will be all done! Then we’ll have to think the downstairs area. Moving my bed would be a very big challenge because it is so heavy! The guys who delivered it actually put it together inside my house it simply wouldn’t fit in all the doors so I was glad that they delivered not in one piece coz it would be a pain. Putting new floors in my children’s room really brighten and widen the space. It is just so much easier to clean compare to those ugly carpet that was on. All we have to do now is just sweep the floor and it’s good as new no fuss and no annoying carpet cleaner. I am very happy that my house is coming along little by little and I can’t wait for the day when we don’t have anymore to fix or replace that would be a dream come true!

I hope that you are mindful today to our environment and contribute by changing a little way to help our planet! There are a lot of things to do and you don’t have to do it all but every little thing count including planting a tree of course! You can also change the bulbs into a high efficiency ones, get a compost tumbler and start composting, volunteer to help keep the park clean, ride a bike and of course, recycle, recycle, recycle! You can search for the nearest recycle area in your place and you need to check what they accept so you don’t hassle yourself by bringing the unacceptable materials and make sure to rinse the cans and bottles before dropping them off. Some of the site ask you to flatten them before dropping them off so just check their website, I’m sure your city website has all the details that you need to know. There’s one thing you can do on the weekend and it’s the easiest of them all is spend one day without driving! That save you gas and that’s one less car not contributing into air pollution! Happy earth day ^-^

I need some energy because I have been sleepy and lazy! Even when I watch action movies or listen to the music loud I still manage to take a nap and I don’t know how did I do that because I didn’t do any hard work that would make me very tired but for some reason my energy is just down.

OH before i forget I have to post today’s Unconscious Muttering entry:
I say … and you think … ?

Soul mate :: Tied for life

Design :: sketch

Line :: queue

Jane :: Doe

Nice :: naughty

Spider :: Man.. Peter Parker!

Gray :: ‘s Anatomy?

Ruffles :: Chips.. yum!

Inspired :: love struck

Fashionable :: plastic business cards I heard of one and it’s pretty neat actually.

So anyway,back to low energy; I don’t really have any idea why I am so tired because like I said I didn’t do any hard work. If there’s one who should be tired that would be my husband because he works all day all weekend and on weekdays, he works on the house so I shouldn’t be tired at all because I didn’t go to work and work something at the house but for some reason I am and I get soo sleepy. I want to try those energy drink that’s on TV all the time and I am wondering if it really works but I am somewhat afraid that it might pump me up so much or it might give me a heart attack. I should take one on the weekday so if there’s something bad that’s going to happen then I have my husband here to help me lol.

I have 3 children who are involved in music and all 3 of them seems to have the same recital/concert dates! This is hard when you have 3 kids and you only have 2 parents which means not enough body to accompany each child! I really hope that one of that one of the schedule is wrong because the last years recital was on the weekend and not on the weekday which would make sense to me because the recital is not school related activity. My two son who are in school band/string means their concerts are meant to be held on the weekdays–>school related activity! So I hope my daughter’s recital will be held on the weekend and I have to talk to her teacher about that to clarify and I have to pay her back for the new music books she gave to my daughter and I have to ask her what she thinks about Roland brands and I have to bring the check for next months tuition. Even if my daughter’s recital is on the weekend there is still a conflict in both my sons concert schedule. I want us all in one event but that is kinda hard when they have both concerts held at the same time in different school locations! so I guess I will be going to my eldest son and my husband and daughter will go to my youngest son which I really want to attend but I can’t leave the other one unsupported.:( The school should have a system in concert schedules not interfering another schools concert schedule but I don’t think it will happen ever! But how I wish so I don’t have to choose which one I will go to!

I don’t mind chilly weather as long as no snow falling from the sky. I have some flowers growing in the yard but I don’t really care much about it because those are not my favorite flowers and besides we have a plan to reconstruct our yard both front and back and then I can plant some nice flowers and finally will be able to get rid of the ones that the former owner planted. I noticed that the former owners of this house really have a weird taste of what the house looks like. Seriously when we moved in they have these ugly wall papers all over the place and when I say it’s ugly I mean really fugly that it makes you want to have a ekg machines handy because when you see it it kinda give you a heart attack by looking at it! The patterns were ugly and very dark and it makes the whole house dark even with the ugly pink carpet flooring!We changed a lot of stuff including the sidings, the bathrooms, heat & air, kitchen and we just finished installing new floors and no carpet either!Owning a house really put a hole in your pocket but it’s an investment that worth paying for and it is our home that defines who we are and hopefully we will be able to replace the roof and update the yard and throw away those ugly plants and then I could somewhat erase those horrendous wallpaper on my mind! ^-^

I think it’s important to cast a vote and elect a person we think that will do his/her best to serve the country. Every vote counts so I will be casting my vote on election day I know it’s still months away but I’m just thinking about this a while ago and I think I will vote this year.

Anyway, I am still not feeling better and this flu just need to go away. I also have this migraine that would not go away and I felt queasy so I am tucking a cup of hot tea. I am getting tired of taking over the counter medicine and even prescription medicine that doesn’t work and I was thinking it would be nice to learn more about Neurostimulation for migraine, I heard that it works to some people and it would be life changing to finally getting rid of migraines.

Today is Tuesday so here’s my entry for the Queen’s Meme:

1. Have you ever used coupons? Why or why not?
* Of course I have. Every cent discount help especially in today’s economy.

2. Your choice is one free tank of gas or one cart full of free groceries. Which do you choose?
*Ohh toughie. I think I will choose the gas one because gas seems more expensive than grocery nowadays.

3. Which items on your supply list should be bought in bulk for bigger savings?
*That would be the meat.

4. What is the best sample you’ve ever received in the mail?
* I would say it’s the measuring cups and spoons because I am still using it and it’s been 4 years!

5. Is any amount of money too little to save? Would you present a coupon for ten cents to your grocer?
* No.. Yes I would I sometimes even take those free penny at the gas station!

6. Imagine you are attending a 12-Step meeting for Coupon Addicts. Is there any hope for your recovery?
* I don’t know I’m not a coupon addict really. I use it when I get one but I don’t go crazy looking for one! I should!

7. Do you know about extreme couponing? Do you think these people are crazy or brilliant?
* No I haven’t heard of that but… one time we bought this freezer with free $200 worth of grocery coupons and I used it all in one trip and I can’t believed how much I save. I think I only paid $7 for like a whole lot of stuff and it was fun but gosh it took forever to finish! So for me those extreme couponing people are both crazy and brilliant!

Enjoy the rest of your everning!

There were a lot of different foods from different cultures for everyone to taste and it was fun. My son was also playing in the jazz band entertaining the folks. There were 2 different bands playing one was jazz band and the other one was a folk band. There is a choir also. When the jazz band played the waltz, there were some couple who danced and it was very sweet looking and I have to give the old man the props for being so romantic. There were also speeches from different students sharing about their cultures and the one that really impressed me was the girl from Ghana who shared the wonderful things they had and that music was their life. They dance with the beat of the hand drums like Cajons and she also told the students how lucky they are here in the US having a wonderful school building and how different it was from her country and that the students here in the US should feel blessed for what they have. She was very articulate and very inspiring and I’m sure she will grow up to be a wonderful and successful woman.

I have the clothes that I am willing to sell ready though but I think I need to plan this more and be ready for it. I don’t really want a big garage sale and I have no plans sitting waiting for shoppers all day long when I can do something else that is productive.. well earning money selling things we don’t use anymore is productive but I hosted a garage sale before and sitting there all day long is not my thing but I want to get rid of the stuff and making a little money out of it is great but I have to be more ready and more organize so maybe I will move the garage sale thingy next Friday but let’s see if I can pull it off tomorrow.. ^-^

Spring has sprung and it has been raining for days but it is much needed for the plants to grow and bloom! I really love the smell of morning rain and I can live with a little rain 365 days a year because sometimes I have these hot flashes that it seems I am going to menopause and if I am then maybe I have to keep bio identical hormone replacement therapy in mind and the rain with cool weather helps a lot!

Anyway, we bought us a new grill because the one we have is just old and is not safety to use anymore. It served us for 10 years though so we were thankful for it, it was cheap yet durable for 10 whole years! We bought a US made Huntington Grill and we haven’t use it yet but we read a lot of wonderful reviews and the fact that is made right here in the USA made it more special. So are you ready for the wonderful grilling time ahead? I know we are!

I am more fond of it than paper pages since I can also add an mp3 audio file and listen to it while reading…. yes I am one of those dorks who read and listen at the same time and I don’t know why I enjoy it. I have some books loaded on my nook mostly free from Barnes & Noble and some other free sites and some are borrowed from the library. I have some series loaded into my nook that is enough for me to read for the whole year and I will definitely bring it with me on our road trip to the east coast this summer.

We were talking about looking into some smaller RV and even the ones that you can hook on your curt trailer hitches since now we have a puppy to bring with us and it would be nice not to worry about looking for pet-friendly hotel though I know there are plenty of it but the convenience of road-trip/camping sounds better than staying on a hotel. Anyway I was just thinking having an RV is a good idea, you can use the kitchen and bathroom while on the road and I’ll be able to read my nook on the road comfortably lol.

Well, I just can’t wait til May to read the latest Sookie Stackhouse Novel. I know sounds dorky but I got hooked. Though the last installment wasn’t my favorite one but I can’t stop now! I mean I read all 11 of them already and there’s 2 more so I just have to finish it all.
